El príncipe Harry y su esposa, la actriz Meghan Markle, quienes sorprendieron al mundo al anunciar que dejarían definitivamente las tareas reales que llevaban adelante como miembros de la realeza británica, volvieron a hacer de las suyas, ya que ahora alcanzaron un acuerdo con Netflix.

Según reporta The New York Times, el acuerdo alcanza diferentes futuras producciones, y si bien no se sabe con exactitud cuánto recibirá la joven pareja, se descuenta que será una sociedad muy lucrativa para ambas partes.

El Duque y la Duquesa de Sussex recibirán dinero por participar en documentales, docuseries, películas, series y programación infantil, según trascendió. A pesar de lo que se puede pensar, un representante de la pareja adelantó que Meghan Markle no tiene interés en regresar a la actuación, así que cabe esperar que esté involucrada en otros aspectos de las producciones.

"Nuestro enfoque estará en crear contenido que informe pero que también dé esperanza”, dijo la pareja en un comunicado. “Como nuevos padres, nos resulta importante hacer programación infantil que inspire", agregaron.

Según explicaron en la cuenta oficial de Meghan, ya hay algunos proyectos en preparación, como una serie animada que se enfoca en contar las historias de mujeres notables.

Desde Netflix, comunicaron que están "increíblemente orgullosos de que nos hayan elegido como su hogar creativo". "Estamos emocionados por contar historias que pueden generar resiliencia y aumentar la tolerancia de las audiencias junto a ellos", agregaron.
