La Academia anuncia las nominaciones a los Premios Oscar 2026 con un récord histórico para Sinners

Llegó el día más esperado para todos los fanáticos del cine y la temporada de premios. La Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas anunció las nominaciones a los Premios Oscar 2026.

Los actores Danielle Brooks (El color púrpura, Una película de Minecraft) y Lewis Pullman (El testamento de Ann Lee, Thunderbolts*), fueron los encargados de anunciar las categorías principales y los títulos que competirán por la estatuilla dorada.

Tal como se había proyectado, Sinners alcanzó un récord histórico de 16 nominaciones, convirtiéndose en la película más nominada en la historia de los Premios Oscar. La siguen de cerca, One Battle After Another con 13 nominaciones, Frankenstein, Marty Supreme y Sentimental Value con 9 cada una, Hamnet con 8 y Bugonia, Train Dreams, F1 y The Secret Agent con 4 cada una.

La edición 2026 de los Oscar también marca un cambio importante en la estructura de los premios. Este año se suma oficialmente la categoría de Mejor Casting, lo que eleva el total a 24 ternas. En tanto, la categoría de Mejor Película volverá a contar con un máximo de 10 nominadas.

En el terreno de las actuaciones, la competencia promete ser intensa. Para Mejor Actor, se esperan nominaciones para Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Michael B. Jordan (Sinners) y Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent). Chalamet llega al anuncio con ventaja simbólica tras imponerse a DiCaprio en los últimos Globos de Oro.

En la categoría de Mejor Actriz, los nombres que suenan con más fuerza son Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value) y Emma Stone (Bugonia).

La ceremonia de los Oscar volverá a contar con Conan O’Brien como presentador, tras un debut exitoso en 2025 que logró la mayor audiencia de la gala en cinco años. La 98ª edición de los Premios de la Academia se celebrará el 15 de marzo en el Dolby Theatre de Hollywood, con transmisión por TNT y HBO Max.
