Premios BAFTA 2022: se conocieron las nominaciones y esta es la candidata favorita

A tan solo una semana del anuncio de las nominaciones a los Premios Oscar, se conocieron las nominaciones de los Premios BAFTA ( Academia Británica de las Artes Cinematográficas y de la Televisión). A diferencia de otras premiaciones, el BAFTA se presenta un tanto más equilibrado este año, con algunas sorpresas pero con un claro ganador: las plataformas de streaming. 

Aunque los grandes estudios vuelven a estar presentes con varios títulos destacados, los servicios on demand marcan una fuerte presencia en la edición actual, dejando en claro las nuevas reglas de juego. Netflix se impone con 22 nominaciones este año, logrando menciones en las principales categorías. Entre ellas, The Power of the Dog (El poder del perro) que logró 8 nominaciones; la sátira apocalíptica Don't Look Up (No miren arriba) se quedó con 4 nominaciones; y los drama Passing con 2 nominaciones y The Lost Daughter (La hija oscura) con 2 candidaturas.  

Por su parte, Amazon Prime Video también se llevó una parte de reconocimiento con Being The Ricardos y Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. Mientras que HBO Max logró algunas nominaciones para King Richard y Apple TV+ con CODA. 

Por supuesto, la gran candidata de los premios es Dune, la película de ciencia ficción dirigida por Denis Villeneuve, que se alza con 11 nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película y Mejor Guion Adaptado. 

La ceremonia de entrega de los BAFTA tendrán lugar el domingo 13 de marzo en el Royal Albert Hall. Este año, la premiación será presencial y estará conducida por la actriz Rebel Wilson. A continuación la lista de nominados:
