Se conocieron las nominaciones a los Premios Oscar 2022

Finalmente ha llegado el momento de conocerse las candidatas favoritas a los Premios Oscar. La Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas anunció sus candidaturas para la 94 edición de los Premios de la Academia que se entregarán el próximo 27 de marzo.

Esta mañana desde, los actores Leslie Jordan y Tracee Ellis Ross dieron a conocer a los candidatos de las 23 categorías que este año podrían alzarse con el premio máximo de Hollywood. 

Tal como se esperaba, The Power of the Dog, dirigida por Jane Campion, encabeza la lista de nominaciones con 12 candidaturas, incluyendo Mejor Película, Mejor Director y las principales categorías actorales.  De cerca le sigue Dune, la cinta de ciencia ficción dirigida por Denis Villeneuve con 10 nominaciones. Las restantes se alzan con: Belfast (7), West Side Story (7), King Richard (6), Drive My Car (4), Nightmare Alley (4), Don't Look Up (4), CODA (3) y Licorice Pizza (3). 

A diferencia del año pasado, Hollywood intentará un regreso a la normalidad con una ceremonia presencial. La premiación tendrá lugar el domingo 27 de marzo en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles y será televisada a través de la cadena ABC en Estados Unidos desde las 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. En Latinoamérica se podrá seguir en vivo desde la señal TNT. Asimismo, se confirmó que este año la entrega volverá a contar con un anfitrión, algo que no sucedía desde el 2018.
